The SuperBlade Chassis Management Module (CMM) provides complete remote control of individual server blades, power supplies, cooling fans, and network switches.
System administrators can benefit from the ease of management and security of continuous monitoring of on-board instruments (temperature sensors, power status, voltage and fan speed).
Remote power control options are available for rebooting and/or resetting the server, as well as remote access to BIOS configuration and operating system console information via the Serial over LAN (SOL) protocol or built-in KVM features.
Because the controller is a standalone processor, all monitoring and control functions work flawlessly regardless of processor activity or system power-up status.
