Power cables

Server systems and their power supplies use cables with varying pin counts, as each component requires different power. Motherboards are typically connected with 24-pin cables, which can adequately power them. For processors, 4-pin or 8-pin cables are commonly used. Graphics cards can be categorized into multiple performance classes. While less demanding cards can be powered directly from the motherboard's PCIe slot (up to 75W), more powerful cards require additional power through an 8-pin or 12-pin connector.
