The Future of Ryzen™ Processors
AMD Ryzen™ 7000 Series processors are the first generation of CPUs on the new AMD Socket AM5 platform, and GIGABYTE has motherboards, workstations, and servers to support them. The processors are built with AMD “Zen 4” architecture that includes high-speed DDR5 memory, high-throughput PCIe 5.0 lanes, and hyper-efficient 5nm manufacturing. With the latest technologies and advanced features, the AMD Ryzen 7000 processors deliver a fresh user experience. They can easily handle compute heavy workloads, yet they are diverse enough that users can find an optimal choice whether that be for enterprise or consumer applications where performance, productivity, and efficiency matter.

Power Efficiency
GIGABYTE servers are enabled with Automatic Fan Speed Control to achieve the best cooling and power efficiency. Individual fan speeds will be automatically adjusted according to temperature sensors strategically placed in the servers.

High Availability
To prevent server downtime and data loss as a result of loss of AC power, GIGABYTE implements SmaRT in all our server platforms. When such an event occurs, the system will throttle while maintaining availability and reducing power load. Capacitors within the power supply can supply power for 10-20ms, which is enough time to transition to a backup power source for continued operation.

Hardware Security
For hardware-based authentication, the passwords, encryption keys, and digital certificates are stored in a TPM module to prevent unwanted users from gaining access to your data. GIGABYTE TPM modules come in either a Serial Peripheral Interface or Low Pin Count bus.

Up to 16 cores and 32 threads, the AMD Ryzen CPU can reach its potential in GIGABYTE platforms, including support for a dual-slot GPU.
